Social Events

From the very beginning of the academic year, Berkeley APALSA hosts numbers of enjoyable events to strengthen the network between students within the law school community. APALSA's social events include a welcoming dinner for the first-year students, tours and outings around the Bay Area, networking events with APALSAs from other law schools, a ski trip at Tahoe, and much more.

APALSA Buddy Program

One of Berkeley APALSA's main goals of the year is to help the first-year students settle in at the law school and help them feel at home. The renowned APALSA Buddy Program provides first-year students with a source of excellent mentors, who provide advice about succeeding at law school, balancing coursework while maintaining a healthy lifestyle, finding one's career paths, among other things.
