On behalf of Berkeley's Asian Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA),
we would like to welcome you to the Berkeley Law community. We hope that this website
can serve as a guide in helping you become acquainted with the vast resources that APALSA
has in store for you.
As one of the largest and most active student organizations at Berkeley Law,
APALSA strives to promote a greater understanding of issues and events involving the
Asian American community and beyond, while fostering a strong networking opportunity for
our members. Our activities include outlining/exam panels, job search support, social events,
a buddy system, a ski trip, dinners with bay area firms, volunteering opportunities,
tons of free food, and much more. This year, our talented and devoted board members
are taking strides to preserve APALSA's traditions, while also entertaining new ideas in
hopes of making APALSA a better organization overall. We really hope that you take advantage
of our various events and programs during this coming academic year.
If you have any questions or comments regarding APALSA's affairs, please do not hesitate
to contact us. We look forward to seeing you on campus!
Sincerely,
Francis Lam and Tracy Leong
Co-Chairs, 2009 - 2010
